Running a VA business doesn’t come with colleagues or someone to bounce ideas off, so after you’ve set things up, it can start to feel a bit... isolating.
That’s where the VA Growth Hub comes in.
The Growth Hub is a supportive community of VAs looking for connection, advice, accountability, and the kind of 'real-life' conversations you miss from office life.
If you want to learn more about AI, see what's working for other VAs, get on top of your marketing and do more with what you’ve already built, stop putting your own business at the bottom of your to-do list and join us.
Growth Hub members are curious, collaborative, and community-minded. They’re past the newbie stage, so they're looking at the next tier of challenges that come with running a business. They want:

"I’m so pleased I joined the group a couple of months ago. It’s lovely being able to share and bounce ideas off other VAs with loads of experience. The coworking sessions and more advanced discussions around AI are great, too."
- Bee Kingshott
"I love The VA Growth Hub. It took me a while to join because I was fearful I wasn’t experienced enough (imposter syndrome popped up big time!) but I find it invaluable. Without being too dramatic, when I found you and the group, I was very happy!"
- Debbie Capon
"All the information and support in this group is amazing. I have yet to find a group in Australia that offers the same so that’s why I’m a big fan 😀🙌🏻. Highly recommend."

"It was like Jo read my mind when she created this group. I've been so busy working in my day-to-day full VA diary and kept thinking I should try and stop to work out where I want to take the business. As soon as I saw her post about the group I thought "That's for me!" I love everything I've taken part in so far. I posted a comment in the group about something I wanted to find out more about and it ended up in an amazing Zoom chat with fantastic members sharing their knowledge. Invaluable advice! I am so glad I joined! " ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Carol Pull
"I’m so glad I joined the Growth Hub! I’ve already had discussions with other VAs about strategies for business growth, including outsourcing to associates, raising my prices, and upping my marketing. It’s super helpful to have access to this, as I’m actually talking to other VAs who can share their direct experience in this area. I've already gained so much from the group in the short time it's been running. Having access to Jo and her 10+ years of experience, taking part in monthly planning sessions, and virtual coworking are just some of the benefits." Tom Lingard
"Six invaluable elements of the Growth Hub group: coworking, accountability, brainstorming, connections, friendships, and being able to chat about a wide variety of topics with people who are at a similar stage in business (established, but still come across a head-scratcher now and then)! 🤩🎉" Anastasia Blackwell Olson
"Being part of the VA Growth Hub helps keep me motivated during the not so easy times." Kerry Craddock
"I signed up for the VA Growth Hub as I have had my business for 8 years now. I have had boom times and quieter times and, as the sole manager of my business, it can be difficult to relay to others the struggles with motivation, consistency and keeping up with the latest trends. Let's face it, technology that exists now wasn't around 10-15 years ago, and we have to keep learning as we go. This group has provided me with a space to connect with others and learn. Thank you for bringing the fire back to my business." Letty Scrimgeour
"The Growth Hub has helped me refocus, look at my business again, and enjoy it again! The discussions on AI and growing your business have helped expand my business ideas. It’s a great group to belong to and collaborate with." Jill Hartery
"I love being part of the Growth Hub. I needed some guidance and the opportunity to connect with other VAs who were further down the road in their VA journey. I’ve learnt so much and have taken on quite a bit more work recently and I’d say this was down to Joanne Munro and the friendly VAs of the group. I deffo needed this group in my life! 🥰" Kelly Dixon
"It feels smaller/more intimate than other groups, which is a lovely thing personally. And there aren’t any solo big personalities here. The events and advice is great. I like that I can dip in and out and that the questions asked are different to other groups too." Lucy Willis
"The Growth Hub has helped me to put my focus back on my business and get excited about being a VA again. I've been able to brainstorm with other VAs and learn about new technology. My business has picked back up and I'm learning new things - which is great for not only MY business but also my clients' businesses." Denise Riches
"The valuable contributions of other VAs have really helped me – especially the recent session on ChatGPT, as I joined the group knowing that I needed to change and adapt. Your group is exactly what I need as I am making changes to my business .... I certainly will not be leaving the group! I believe there's no 'silver bullet' to solving issues etc, it's investment, self-accountability and without meaning to sound too woo-woo about it... a (learning) journey to be enjoyed. Thanks again." Jasmin Boyle
"I've recently started attending regular coworking sessions, and I get SO MUCH DONE. I find it's the perfect time for doing something I've been procrastinating about. If you're a lone-worker, do you take part in coworking sessions? I definitely recommend giving them a try if not 😊." Kerry C
"I like having a trusted group I can turn to if I need help. I like learning what is ‘normal’ in VA life and finding a lot of reassurance in other people’s experiences. I found the Access to Work session super helpful. I’m fully booked with work, so I have less time to attend events, but I check in and browse the group most days." Martha Kilner
Give it a month and see if you like it!
~ Example 1: you've been a VA for years but only have one or two clients = you're not a newbie, so you're a good fit.
~ Example 2: you've only been a VA for, say, six months, but you have three clients = you're not looking for your first client, so you're a good fit.
~ Example 3: you're fresh out of the box, and you don't have any clients = you're a newbie and should not join the VA Growth Hub until you're more established.
If you're not sure, then sign up for a month to see if it's for you. Or drop me an email with your current situation and I'll let you know.
The VA Growth Hub is a private Facebook group. Although Facebook doesn't yet offer paid groups, it was the most suitable location because most people have a FB account.
You purchase a monthly subscription here and receive the Facebook group link in your confirmation email. Anyone can find the group but only members can view the content and see who's in it.
You don’t need to show up to everything, but just knowing the support and company are there whenever you need it makes all the difference. Being a VA can be isolating, but this group makes sure you don’t have to figure it all out alone.
VAs are busy people, so there is no commitment at all. You don't need to attend every event or keep up with every conversation. All the resources are available whenever you need them, so you can dip in and out whenever you want and get involved as much or as little as you like.
However, the more you put into the group the more you will get out.
Yup. There's no minimum contract, so you can cancel at any time.
Simply log in and cancel the membership in your account dashboard. Your monthly recurring payments will cease, and you will be removed from the Facebook group at the end of the period you've paid for.
However, if the price of membership goes up, you will pay the new price if you decide to rejoin at a later date.
The monthly payment of £9.99 GBP is roughly €11 Euros, $13 USD, $18 CAD and $21 AUD, but you should check the website xe.com to find out the current exchange rate as it fluctuates daily.
The price you will pay should also appear on the checkout page before you click to confirm the transaction.
